I honestly can't believe how fast these little buggers grow. Ridge is doing something new everyday and I am finding it very hard to keep up with him and Kenli. He has just started army crawling and man is this kid quick. I love anticipating the next new thing!

Ridge loved the water!
Kenli was very scary in the water. She isn't afraid of anything and she thinks she's a lot bigger than she really is. It didn't even bother her to go under water. She wouldn't wait for anyone to help her. Justin and I realized that she has to wear a life jackit at all times.
Colter's SuperMan into the water. The kids loved swimming and they were pretty funny.
So this picture represents the fun, crappy, and sad part of this last weekend. Sunday was our last day with Darin and Janey before they left for Pennsylvania. We had a great time but we are so sad to see them leave. This whole process of them leaving is so bitter sweet. We are so proud and excited for you guys but at the same time so upset that you are gone. Kenli and Colt are best buddies and don't really understand what's going on. The web cam is going to have to be our best friend. We miss you guys tons already. Love you guys!!
We went camping with the Miller Fam this last weekend and had a blast. Justin had this bright idea to ride in the back of the Rhino in his camping chair. It was pretty funny and of course he thought it was the most comfortable thing in the world.

The Big 3

I can't believe my baby girl is 3 years old. It's amazing how fast time goes by. I was so excited to give her this Baseball mit/ball and it actually was a pretty big hit!
Kenli loved the balloons but was wondering why there was so many. She only wanted one!
We celebrated Kenli's 3rd Birthday on July 13th. Daddy went to the store the night before and bought 15 pink balloons and a barbie. He was pretty proud that he would walk out of Walmart with these things. It's amazing how little girls can soften their Dads.

We spent the 4th of July in Delta with the fam and had a great time. We went to the parade, played on the huge water slide, played games, ate, went to the derby, and watched the fireworks. The kids had a blast! Thanks Mom and Dad for letting us all hang out for the weekend!
Kenli loved her 4th of July outfit and she looked stinking cute in it!
Don't worry....My 5 1/2 month old is almost as big as my 3 year old!
I thought this action picture was hillarious!
We spent the day on the huge water slide, and it seems that it has become a new favorite toy for the entire family. I think the adults actually liked it more than the kids. None of us could walk after playing on it but it was still a blast!
Daddy and Ridge
Kenli grabbing the treats at the parade. She loved the parade, especially the dancers. She stood and shook her booty for about 5 minutes.
Lexi, Colter, and Kenli
Colter was a pretty good sport about letting the girls kiss him, but after awhile he had enough.
He started running away and wiping the kisses off.

Camping

We spent the weekend camping in Oak City with the fam! It rained a ton but we still had a lot of fun. It was so good to have everyone there.
Ridge absolutely loved camping and especially being outside. He slept all night for 3 nights in a row which is more than I can say for when we're home. He's pretty stinking cute!
The kids love the 4-wheelers and the helmets! We are so lucky that the kids are so good about wearing the helmets. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for buying such neat helmets!

Max, Kenli, Colter
The kids had so much fun playing in the dirt and the rain. They were fighting over Kenli's little 4-wheeler the entire time. They have quite the love/hate relationship...especially Kenli and Colter! I don't know what we would do without all of these precious kids.
This is Ridge's newest thing. He was getting so mad because I was swaddling him and he wanted his arms out. He would fight until he got them out and then knock his binky out. It was this endless cycle all night...wrap him up, get his arms out, knock his binky out, cry...! Finally I used a little motherly thinking or what I like to call critical thinking. I grabbed this stinking cute giraffe my mom bought him when he was born. He wraps his arm around it and wala... he is occupied! He still occassionally knocks the binky, but it is much better than before.

End of School Party

Roberta threw a huge end of school party for the kids with food, games, toys, and a massive water slide. They had so much fun. Thanks Roberta for always doing such fun things!
I can't believe how much Ridge looks like his daddy. I guess the saying is true, "Like father, Like Son!" Ridge was enjoying the party too.

Roberta had this huge water slide/toy that the kids absolutely loved. Kenli wasn't sure about the slide because everytime she went down it she got sprayed in the face. She just wanted to be the one spraying the water!

Kasey, Kenli & Max
Kasey seemed to be quite annoyed that I was making him stand there to take the picture. They were having so much fun there was no time to stop.
Kenli loved the water gun and would not let go of it. She was spraying all the big kids, which I think was getting pretty annoying to them, but she was having a blast.

4 Months Old

Height: 25.75" (84%)
Weight: 15lbs 12oz. (74%)

Ridge is getting so big we can't believe it!

Getting ready to roll over.

Ridge and the Exer Saucer

He is just getting to where he likes to play in this and it has been a very nice break for my back. He just spins in circles and occassionally plays with the toys.
We went camping in Oak City a few weekends ago and found out real quick why we love having the trailer. It poured harder than I have seen in a long time and it lasted for a few days. Oh well, we still had a good time and of course the rain didn't bother Kenli at all.
Justin and Kenli riding 4-wheelers on our camping trip. Kenli loves the wheelers....and the helmet!

I love this picture because you can see his big blue eyes so well. They are pretty blue and I am hoping they stay!

12 weeks Old

I can't believe Ridge is already 3 months old. Time has flown by and he is growing so fast. He's getting so funny and loves to smile, coo, and tries to laugh. Don't worry, he still has quite the temper. We are loving every minute of him! Thanks Jess and Tash for this darling outfit. He looks like a little stud!
The Easter Bunny brought Kenli some sidewalk chalk and she thought it was the best thing in the world. She drew all over my dad's driveway and herself. I don't think my dad was nearly as excited about the chalk as she was! Thanks Dad!

Ridge's Blessing Day

Ridge was blessed on March 29. We had tons of family come and it was great to see everyone. Thanks to all those who traveled to be with us on this special day.
Ridge was a pretty good sport about playing "dolls (the doll) " with Kenli. I'm sure this will not be the last time!
We went to dinner at Texas Roadhouse with Jesse and Tasha while they were on their honeymoon. They had to ride the saddle, which was absolutely hillarious, but you can see how humiliated they both were.
Jesse & Tasha were married March 14 in the Mt. Timpanogos temple. It was a beautiful day and we are so excited to finally have Tasha part of the family "officially." We love you guys!

Well it has been awhile since my last post and everyone has been asking to see the little one, so here he is. He's getting so big and I can't believe it has already been 5 weeks. Kenli is such a help ( sometimes way to much!) and loves her baby brother. She always tells me, " he's my best friend"! Life has been busy and exciting and we wouldn't trade any minute of it!
I spent forever trying to get a good picture of the two of them and this is as good as it gets for now. They're pretty darn cute!
He's really a very good baby, but he does have quite the little temper.
I can't believe how fast they grow!
Just being her "Wild" self!
Kenli's been struggling a bit with nap and bedtime since Ridge came, and it has been interesting at times to say the least. She has recently decided that the floor is the best place to sleep, and most the time refuses the bed. The other morning I got up to feed Ridge at 5 am and couldn't find Kenli anywhere. After searching the house, waking Justin, and a period of panic, Kenli comes strolling out of our room carrying her blanky and looking very sleepy. She looked at her dad and said, " I sleep under your bed"! I'm praying we'll make it through this phase!
Justin went to check on Kenli one night before we went to bed and found her here. She threw all the jammies out of the drawer and covered the top of the humidifier so she didn't get wet. She was sound asleep. Just one of the many new sleeping places!

Ridge J. Miller
January 29, 2009
7 lbs. 3 oz.
19 1/2 in. long
Born 6:29 am
He's already here! I went to my 38 week appointment on Tuesday the 27th and everything looked great, except for the fact that I hadn't made near as much progress as was wishing for. We scheduled an induction date for today...February 4th! However, Ridge is a typical Miller boy and has a mind of his own. On Wed. night I started having very random contractions at about 8 pm. By 11:00 they were about 8 minutes apart and I was waiting for them to stop at anytime. By 1:30 am they were about 4-5 min. apart and getting stronger. I decided it might be time to wake Justin, and at 2 am we started our 35 min. treck to the hospital. On the way there they became 2-3 min. apart and very strong... and I was still waiting for them to stop. When we arrived at the hospital I was dilated to 5 cm and things moved along very quickly. Dr. Nance came in the room at 6:26 am, I pushed 2 1/2 times and baby Ridge was born at 6:29 am. We are so excited to have him here and are once again amazed at the unconditional love we have for this little boy!
We love this baby boy!
Kenli loves her new baby brother and is VERY helpful. We have a lot of teaching to do about what we can and cannot do with baby brother. We've already had to teach her that he cannot go to the bathroom on the potty like her! She's so cute with him and is quite the little mommy!
A bright eyed moment! We've tried so hard to catch him with his eyes open and finally did it.
