Halloween 2010

We had a great time at Grandma Miller's for Halloween. Thanks Grandma for all the fun.

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

We took a trip in October to Pennsylvania to see Darin and Janey. We had been planning it for three months and was able to keep it a secret from Darin. Janey picked us up at the airport and when we got to the house Darin's response was priceless. He had absolutely no idea we were coming. We enjoyed the week together and got to see some fun things. We took the kids to the Children's Museum, Schramm Farm, Swimming, and rode the Gateway Clipper. Thanks guys for such a great time. We had a blast and can't wait to see you again.
This was all of us waiting to board the Gateway Clipper. We road the ferry for a tour around the outside of the City of Pittsburgh. It was really cold but so worth it!
The view from the Ferry was amazing. We circled the city of Pittsburgh and were able to see Heinz field and all of the beautiful, old bridges.
These two missed each other so much and had a blast playing together. They totally act like brother and sister though.
We took the kids to Schramm Farm to pick pumpkins. It was really cute and they had a great time.
This is us at the Children's Museum in Pittsburgh. The kids had so much fun. Kenli asks me all the time when we are going back.
We went to this huge, beautiful park where there was this enormous slide. The kids thought it was so much fun. The best part was watching these random adults try the slide. We stayed at the bottom to catch the kids because it was pretty steep. However, the adults didn't have anyone to catch them and it was pretty hilarious to see them fly off the end of the slide to the ground.
Justin had a very fast deer hunt this year. He left at about 6am and was back by about 1pm. Nonetheless he returned with a decent buck. Good job babe!

1st Day of Preschool

Kenli's has been dying to go to school and it finally came. She loves it.

Great Grandpa

My Grandpa came to visit my parents and it has been a long time since we last saw him. My kids absolutely loved him. Kenli wouldn't leave his side for about three days. Grandpa is a man of very little words, so after a few hours of Kenli talking his ear off, I think he really needed a break. He was great though and just let her follow him around.

ZOO

We took the kids to the Zoo for Kenli's birthday. They absolutely loved it, but it was extremely hot. Next time we will for sure go on a cooler day.
So I guess this will come as no surprise to those of you who know his daddy. Yes, he absolutely loves working on the trucks with his dad....and what else besides a FORD!

Happy 4th Birthday

Kenli is turning the big 4 tomorrow and I honestly can't believe that I have a 4 year old. Oh how time flies. We celebrated part of her Birthday on Sunday so her dad and Grandpa could be there. She had so much fun. Thanks Grandma for putting on such a great party.
Everyone thought it would be hilarious to put the head of the pinata on Ridge. Little did we know he would love it.

4th of July

We spent the 4th in Delta this year for the usual load of fun. However, this was pretty much the whole crew, except Jesse and Tash. It was a pretty calm year but still fun nonetheless. We went to the parade, park, and derby, followed by the usual fireworks. Kenli had a blast.
Kenli loves to ride horses and we are lucky enough to have the Myers as part of our family now, and they are always so good to take her. She especially loves them when Hadley is there, seeing as how she has the biggest crush a 4 year old could ever have on him.
This was Ridge the entire parade. It was pretty dang cute.
Just a random day at the park. Oh how the kids love to be outside.

Kenli loves to pose for the camera and this was just one of many.
Daddy stuffed Ridge's shirt with the foam swimming balls and gave him big muscles. He thought this was so funny. He was walking around the house flexing his muscles and growling. We were laughing pretty hard and he thought that was pretty neat.
Easter day at Grandma Millers. Thanks Grandma for the fun Easter!
Kenli woke up first and started picking up eggs and looking for her basket before we were even awake. It's a good thing I heard her get up or we probably would have missed the whole thing. It's so fun to see how excited they get.
Ridge Easter morning. He thought picking up the eggs was pretty fun!
Roberta put together this great Easter Egg hunt this year for all the kids. Since the weather didn't cooperate we ended up hunting in her house. Thanks Roberta for all the fun and for lending your house to such craziness.
It is so extremely hard to get a good picture of these two together, but I thought this one turned out pretty well.
What kid doesn't love stickers! Mine certainly do. They were so happy playing with these and were entertained forever. However, my house was covered in stickers along with them.
This picture is definitely one for the books. It is probably the only time they have and will ever lay quietly by each other.
So Ridge is super wild and very head strong now. He is in to climbing big time and getting whatever he wants. He has quite the little (BIG) personality!
I'm a little late with updating my pictures, but better late than never! These are the kids very cute valentine outfits from Grandma Miller. Thanks Grandma!

Happy 1st Birthday

I honestly can't believe it has been 1 year already. I say it all the time but my kids really are growing so fast. I love all the things they teach me and all the experiences that come with being a mother. Happy 1st birthday baby boy!
I was so excited to give Ridge these balloons for his birthday but little did I know they would be so traumatizing. He was absolutely petrified of them and didn't want to be anywhere near them. Oh well, maybe next year!

The fam on Christmas morning. You gotta love Justin's Grinch jammies!
The kids acted out the Nativity and it was pretty cute. It was quite a challenge getting all the kids to want to participate. Max was fine as long as he didn't have to dress up and if he could hold his toy airplane. Colter was good as gold as soon as he was able to choose his own costume (which was an old Chinese robe laying in the basement) and hold the sword that Grandma made him. Wise men have swords right? Kasey was pretty sure that he was a ninja instead of a Shepherd. Kenli was perfectly fine as long as she felt like everyone was watching her. It was so fun to see each of their own little personalities shine.
The Fam decorating Christmas cookies at our family party.
Darin and Janey came home for Christmas and as you can tell Kenli has missed her best buddy Colter. She spent the first hour with her arms clenched around Colter, kissing him. It's a good thing Colter was a good sport about all the kissing.
Kenli at the Miller Christmas Party. She was so in to Santa this year which made it really fun. She was so excited to see him and took a little moment to sing him "Mary had a little lamb!" I'm sure Santa was incredibly impressed.
Ok so I know my posts are way late but I have a lot to catch up on. This was at the Santaquin light parade. It was so cold and we were all crammed in the little car but we had fun anyway.

I love this baby boy so much! It amazes me how much they learn everyday at this stage. He is so funny and is getting quite a little attitude.

Ok, so I know it has been forever since my last post and I promise I will be posting pictures soon. Things have been very busy and life just continues to plunk away. Everything is going well. Justin is working a ton, Kenli is running the household as usual, Ridge is turning 1 on Friday (I absolutely can't believe my baby is already 1....SCARY!), and as for me, I am just trying to keep up with everyone else! Look for pictures to come soon.

Happy Halloween

This year we spent Halloween up at Grandma & Grandpa Miller's. We had homemade Chili, Cinnamon Rolls, and lots of treats. Kenli had a blast and so did Ridge. When we were out trick-or-treating Ridge was just laughing and hollering the entire time. We had tons of fun!

Kenli getting ready to Trick-Or-Treat! She was so excited this year and we had tons of fun. She wasn't quite sure who she was supposed to say trick-or-treat to. As we were walking down the street she would stop adults who were taking their kids around, and say Trick-or-Treat! The general reply was, "I don't have any candy honey, but aren't you cute"!

Hey Witches gotta sleep too!

Ridge and his Harley Dude costume. He looked so stinking cute!

Ridge was crawling all over and getting into everything when I found him here. He thought this was awesome and played in this one spot for about 20 minutes. I can't believe he is already 9 months old. I am so amazed everyday at how quick these little guys are to grow and learn.
