Ridge got this hat at the Delta Parade and would not stop wearing it. It looked pretty retarded but it made me laugh.
This is Harley my mom and dad's dog. Kenli thinks he is hers and does not let him out of her sight when we are there. He's pretty good to let her hang on him all day long.

4th of July

The usual 4th of July water fight. We always have so much fun. We were missing quite a few family members this year, so we will be looking forward to next year when they are all back.
The kids loved the Sparklers this year. This picture makes me laugh because it shows a big part of Justin's personality. Notice the blow torch in his hands... heaven for bid we could just use the normal match or lighter. Nope, a blow torch is much better!

JUNE 2011

We went camping up Oak City Canyon and it was probably the prettiest I have ever seen it up there. Everything was so green. This was an awesome spot where a tree had fallen across the river. The kids were a little nervous walking along the log to take this picture, but it was totally worth the view.
This pretty much captures how the kids look the entire weekend. That's what I love about camping. It's fine for the kids to be absolutely filthy for days and they couldn't have more fun.
Max, Kenli, Ridge
Kenli's cute little T-Ball team.
Kenli's 1st year of T-Ball. She actually did really good, but gets easily distracted by the boys and dirt. What a combination!

MAY 2011

They did a Toy Story Graduation program and Kenli's group was Mr. Potato Head. They were so stinking cute!
Kenli's Preschool Graduation. They did such a cute program and the Graduation gowns were the cutest things I've ever seen. Kenli was so excited and did such a good job. I honestly can't believe my oldest is on her way to Kindergarten!
We had the opportunity one day to go show the kids one of the tractors Justin operates. They absolutely loved it and didn't want to leave.
Ridge thinks his dad is the greatest person in the world. There is something so humbling and special about a child that idealizes his father. I'm so thankful for Justin and the incredible person he is. I truly hope that Ridge learns all that his father has to teach him. On a lighter note... Ridge thinks his dad's tractors are the neatest thing in the world, and is always looking for his dad's work when we are out on the road.

APRIL 2011

Grandma Bloomfield's big Easter egg hunt. I didn't catch Kenli on her big hunt because she was running around faster than I could, but Ridge was much slower and easier to capture.
The kids loved coloring Easter eggs this year.
The finished product!
The kids wanted to do a craft, and this is what we ended up with. They were pretty funny.
We took the kids to Jumping Jacks for a day out of the house. As always they absolutely love this place.

FEBRUARY 2011

I found Ridge like this at about 8 am. He was pretty sneaky and thought it was hilarious when I caught him. What a great, wholesome breakfast!
Kenli put these stickers on their faces and they both walked around the house saying "Bonjour!" They are so funny!
Ridge with his dad's cowboy hat and his guns. Just like his daddy!
Kenli, Ridge, and Max having a little day of dress-up. They are so funny. Thanks Grandma Bloomfield for sending all these awesome costumes from the 20 year old costume box. Max's dad Devin has a picture with the same frog head when he was about 6. I can't believe we have kept these things for this many years.

JANUARY 2011

We have been Slooowly working on the basement and always have way too much help. Who needs hired help when you have kids? At this rate we will be done with the basement sometime in the next 10 years!!
Ridge loves his tools just like his dad. He always has to have his Tape handy.

2 Years Old

We celebrated Ridge's 2 year old birthday with all the family. We had a big party and a lot of fun.
This was such a cute bouquet of balloons. The mickey balloon lasted forever.
Black frosting was such a bad idea. Everyone had black lips for days.

Kenli's Reaction to her first kiss!

Kenli was down at Grandma Bloomfield's playing with a neighbor boy who has become quite a good friend. When they were done playing, Cutler ran over to Kenli and gave her a big hug. Then much to Kenli's surprise, he planted a big kiss right on her lips. Kenli stepped back with a very astonished and worried look on her face and said, "I Did Not Do That!" I guess her dad really has her worried about the consequences of kissing boys. Let's just hope she stays this way!

The Miller Fam!
Grandpa and the Kids!
This picture was just not going to happen no matter what we tried.
Of course it has been 2 months already in the new year, and yes this is my very first post. Pretty pathetic. We finally got a new computer and I am amazed at how fast and easy blogging is now. I used to wait forever for 1 picture to download. Hopefully this will help me be better. We finally had a few family pictures taken and they turned out pretty cute, so I thought I'd share.
Ridge is a little harder to capture that moment but this is pretty dang good for him.
It's never very hard to get cute pictures of Kenli. She is pretty photogenic and will pose all day long.

So I have finally updated my blog with everything that's been going on for the last 5 months. There are a lot of posts to follow but bear with me. I will try to be better.

Tonsils

Kenli got her tonsils out 2 weeks ago and is finally starting to feel better. This was her before picture and as you can tell, she was really happy to be there. She thought it was so awesome that she got this turtle. She was really brave and did a great job.
After her tonsils she was not nearly as happy. I felt so bad and was pretty much helpless. She was so cute though. She just kept trying to share all her stuff with the nurses. She even shared one of her popsicles with her post-op nurse.

Halloween 2010

We had a great time at Grandma Miller's for Halloween. Thanks Grandma for all the fun.

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

We took a trip in October to Pennsylvania to see Darin and Janey. We had been planning it for three months and was able to keep it a secret from Darin. Janey picked us up at the airport and when we got to the house Darin's response was priceless. He had absolutely no idea we were coming. We enjoyed the week together and got to see some fun things. We took the kids to the Children's Museum, Schramm Farm, Swimming, and rode the Gateway Clipper. Thanks guys for such a great time. We had a blast and can't wait to see you again.
This was all of us waiting to board the Gateway Clipper. We road the ferry for a tour around the outside of the City of Pittsburgh. It was really cold but so worth it!
The view from the Ferry was amazing. We circled the city of Pittsburgh and were able to see Heinz field and all of the beautiful, old bridges.
These two missed each other so much and had a blast playing together. They totally act like brother and sister though.
We took the kids to Schramm Farm to pick pumpkins. It was really cute and they had a great time.
This is us at the Children's Museum in Pittsburgh. The kids had so much fun. Kenli asks me all the time when we are going back.
We went to this huge, beautiful park where there was this enormous slide. The kids thought it was so much fun. The best part was watching these random adults try the slide. We stayed at the bottom to catch the kids because it was pretty steep. However, the adults didn't have anyone to catch them and it was pretty hilarious to see them fly off the end of the slide to the ground.
